Daniel J. Brown

Danny Joe Brown, 72, of Wadesville, IN passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014, at Deaconess Hospital. He was born June 5, 1942, in Greenville, KY to the late Fred W. and Clorene (Jenkins) Brown. He was a 1960 graduate of North Posey High School. He loved fishing, gardening, and working with his hands. Danny was a journeyman tile mechanic and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #497 and Post #5 Sons of the Legion in Mt. Vernon. Danny was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Alyce (Boyer) Brown. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Debbie Brown; son, Dan Brown; granddaughter, Tabitha Brown; step-children, Robert and Amanda Springer; sister, Norma Sue Miller; nephew, Scott A. Montgomery; and aunt, Margie Nell Brown. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in St. Peter’s UCC Cemetery near Wadesville.
