She was a waitress for many years and later on in life she worked at various places demonstrating either products or food. Charlene drove and did this well into her early 80's.
Charlene was survived by her children, Gayle (Mike) Poston, Mark (Rosie) Weber, Glen (Sherry) Weber; seven grandchildren, James Taylor, Joseph Taylor, Lee Cooper, Allie (Patrick) Weber Taylor, Rachel (Austin) Weber Perkins, Richard Weber, Kenny Weber; three great grandchildren, Scarlett Perkins, Hallie Michelle Perkins, and baby Taylor; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Powers (December 2011).
Special thanks to the staff at Good Samaritan while she was in their care and Deaconess Hospice for allowing Gayle to be a part of her treatment, and the excellent care they provided. Will surely be missed, we love you Momma! God bless you.
