Charlene L. Kidd, 49, of Evansville, IN, passed away on October 7, 2022 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on January 8, 1973 in Evansville, IN to Roman and the late Paulette (Rice) Marx.
Charlene worked at TJ Maxx for 25 years and at Family Dollar Store. She was a trustee and member of VFW Post 2953 Auxiliary and volunteered her time at the Charles Denby VFW Post 2953. She loved her family, friends and playing bingo.
Charlene is survived by her husband of 16 years, James “Jimmy” Kidd; father, Roman Marx; son, Dakota Marx (Natalie Beck); granddaughter, Clara Marx; sister, Tina Wood; nephew, Austin Emerson; niece, Diamond Emerson.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Ken Mitz. The Charles Denby VFW Post 2953 will conduct a memorial service Thursday at 5:15 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Family and friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
