Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Groeninger, by her father, Conrad Skeels, her mother, Leatha (Higdon) Skeels and her brother, Gerald “Jerry” Skeels.
She is survived by three nieces, Jeri (Skeels) Casson, Julie (Skeels) Duren, and Jodie (Skeels) Miller.
Carolyn was a devout member of the Northeast Park Baptist Church. She was a very loving and caring person who will be missed by her family, fellow church members and many loving friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Friends may visit from 11:00 am until service time on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Ave., Evansville, IN.
Carolyn's funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, September 21, 2023 and officiated by Pastor Steve Taylor. Internment will follow in Park Lawn Cemetery of Evansville.
