Barbara Ann Fisher

Barbara A. Fisher, 85, of Evansville, IN passed away on November 8, 2023 at Linda E. White Hospice. She was born in Tell City, IN on February 19, 1938. Barbara worked at Sears in Evansville, and the Old Mill Restaurant. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Barbara loved cats but most important was her faith and membership of Mt. Pleasant Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Fisher Sr.; son, Thomas Fisher Jr.; daughters, Cheryl Phillips and Christina Freels; parents, Harold and Alice Miles. Barbara is survived by her children, Scott Fisher (Betty); grandchildren, Katie and Beth Fisher, Andrea, Ryan, Jessica, Cassie and Zach Freels; great grandchildren, Grace Christina Freels and Isaiah Phillips; step-brother, Ronald Leehy; sons-in-law, Rodney Phillips and Jon Freels. A funeral service will be held at Noon on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Alexander North Chapel with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends and family may visit from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh Humane Society or Mt.
