Anna Marie Oschman

Anna Marie Oschman, 101, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at West River Health Campus. She was born June 5, 1923 in Mt. Vernon, IN to the late Clem and Beatrice (Woods) Kleinschmidt. She was raised in Posey County, IN. Anna married Edgar Oschman on January 31, 1942. After marriage, Anna moved to Evansville and lived on the West Side until entering Pine Haven/River View in 2016 and moved to West River in 2021. She worked during WWII making bullets. After the War, she began raising her children in 1948. Anna later became an Avon lady and enjoyed being sociable and square dancing. She loved being around her family and continued attending birthday, Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Additionally, she had fun at the casino. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar who passed away October 10, 2003 at the age of 92. Anna is survived by her children, Sandra Oschman Brown (Steve), Steven Oschman (Cathy) and Sherri Oschman Green (Larry Keil); 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN, officiated by Pastor Jeff Long. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 18, 2024 at Alexander West Chapel, and continued on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Immanuel U.C.C. Cemetery on Ford Road in Posey County, IN. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion-Lippe U.C.C. in Mt.
