She worked at Republic Aviation during WWII as a riveter and later at Shopper's Fair. Alma enjoyed painting, ceramics, and spending time with her family and dog, Maxwell.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hust; brother, Fred Vetter; and, sister, Mary Claghorn.
Alma is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline "Jackie" Trail; grandson, Robert Trail; and, nephews, Joseph Vetter and Ron and Don Hoffman.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Alexander North Chapel with Pastor David Parman officiating and entombment in Alexander Memorial Park on Monday. Friends may visit Friday from 3:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vanderburgh County Humane Society.
