Sandra Jean Miller

Sandra Jean Miller of Chula Vista CA passed away on Monday May 22nd at the age of 84. They were born on May 3rd 1939 in Mattydale NY. She graduated from North Syracuse High School in 1956. She worked as Employee Benefits Specialist for the City of San Diego. She was actively involved in TOPS Club Inc. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Rosalin, brothers Walter Jr. and Frederick. She is survived by her son David Ellis of Syracuse NY and daughter Lori (Kelly) Mathews of Phoenix AZ, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews.The family would like to thank her neighbor Danny for the care and compassion he showed. Services are private.

Sandra was raising a family in Lyncourt NY where she was a member of the Lyncourt Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She moved to San Diego CA. for a fresh start. She started a new career, bought her own home and retired, making it on her own, along with her pet “Mama Cat”. Sandra loved to collect sand dollars while taking walks on the beach. She took fantastic vacations and visited her family as often as she could. She will be dearly missed by everyone that knew her.
