Randy James Mueller, 64, of Englewood, Florida, passed away Nov. 21, 2019 at Venice Area Regional Hospital. Randy was born in Milwaukee, WI on Oct. 6, 1955. He is survived by his beloved wife, Diane; his wife’s son, Michael (Crystal); brother Robert (Renee); sisters Cindy (Gary) and Sandy (Mike). Loving Babo (Grandpa) of Max and Lily. He was a cherished uncle of Dan, Dustin (Brianna), Steve (Charity), Casey (Nathan), and Derek. Most recently, he became a loving great uncle to Marlowe and Harper. His parents, Gerry and Jim Mueller, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins, preceded him in death. He was lucky to have loving friends and neighbors with whom he enjoyed and celebrated his life.
In his professional life, he installed furnaces for Allis-Chalmers Corporation in the US, Africa, and Russia. He managed Cotton Tails Diaper Laundry in Crown Point, Indiana, and then worked as a sales and service representative for Eco-Labs, out of St. Paul, Minnesota.
Randy was an avid news-watcher and enjoyed everything “Green and Gold” (Go Pack!) He loved to travel and hike with Diane and his Grandson Max. Rocket launches off Cape Canaveral were one of his favorite ventures.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date at Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Englewood, Florida.
The family would like to thank Dr. Kaminski and the medical staff at Venice Area Regional Hospital for their care and compassion.
