James R. Hawkins, 76 of Rotonda West, FL passed away on July 13, 2022 in Rotonda West.
Jim was born in Gary, IN and grew up in Fort Wayne, IN attending South Side High School. Jim married Kathy McArdle in 1968 and in 1973 they moved with their 2 young children to Owls Head, ME where he was a lobsterman then the owner of Atlantic Realty. In Maine he was an active member of the community as Head Selectman of Owls Head and serving as president and Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Club in Rockland, ME. After 30 years Jim moved to Rotonda West. There he was a member of the Moose Lodge, the American Legion, and the VFW.
Jim will be missed by his wife Kathy, a daughter Heather of Framingham, MA, son Charles of Killington, VT, granddaughter Chloe Hawkins and his Sister Kathy of Claremont VA.
