Harold G. Bowers

He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Ina (Acker) Bowers; his brother, Clarence Markel and sister Dolores Messier.

Harold is survived by his wife and best friend, Susan Bowers; his children Tina (Mark) Flagler, Sharon (Fred) Lewers, Daniel (Victoria) Bowers, Steven (Jennifer) Bowers; as well as many

grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Harold is also survived by his sister Joan Robinson; brother-in-law, Michael (Darlene), Taylor; sister-in-law, Jean (Samuel) Cierzo, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A retired heat and frost insulator, Harold was born in Albany, New York. He enjoyed a full life of family summers at the “lake” in Vermont, golf (anywhere), travel (everywhere), Florida, politics, and of course, his faith, which he eagerly shared as an elder at South Venice Christian Church and with anyone who would listen.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, May 3, at 2 PM at South Venice Christian Church located at 2390 Seaboard Ave., Venice, FL 34293.
