William Newby Jr.

William was predeceased by his wife of 62 years, Helen. William was the second of four children and is survived by his two brothers, Don and Martin, children Tim (Ann) Newby, Cindy (Michael) Eggley, Carol (Richard) Renfro, Todd (Debbie) Newby, Randy (Sherry) Newby, Ronn Newby; 12 grandchildren; Christopher, Michael, Erik, Travis, Rich, Stephanie, Heidi, Jill, Hunter, Harris, Hollis and Jackson and 15 great-grandchildren; Tyler, Dylan, Haley, Holly, Tryston, Chandler, Gabriel, Gaven, Paige, Rilynn, Landon, Jed, Marshall, Evelyn, Grayson and one grand dog, Henry.

William was an exceptional handyman, husband, brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. His faith guided him as he impacted countless lives. William had the gift of service and enjoyed helping anyone he could. William enjoyed putting a smile on children’s faces by giving homemade wooden cars to children around the world.

Florida Celebration of Life will be at 4;00 PM on Monday, August 29th at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 8305 US Hwy 301, Parrish FL 34219. A Celebration of Life in Iowa will be announced at a later date and time.

The family extends a sincere appreciation for the loving care given by Pat and John during the past few weeks.
