Wayne is survived by his wife of 36 years, Debbie (Rush) Masterson, their three children, Teresa (Kevin) Sak, Mindy (Craig) Baker and Matthew (Laura) Masterson, and grandchildren Ethan and Kaitlyn Sak, Cameron, Caleb, McKenzie, and Collin Baker. He is also survived by his sister Susan (Dana) Morrison-Narring and brother Todd (Judy) Masterson.
Wayne graduated from Palmetto High School in Palmetto, FL in 1975, and pursued his career in the construction industry where he established a successful business for himself for the last 40+ years. He truly was a jack of all trades and there wasn’t much that he couldn’t build, fix, or restore. He will be remembered by many for his craftsmanship that is present in many businesses and homes in Manatee/Sarasota County.
Wayne actively attended First Baptist of Parrish, he was a devoted man of God and a true servant of Christ and strived to teach his family the same. He loved to spend his time in the great outdoors whether he was tinkering on an automobile, sitting in a tree stand, riding the four-wheeler with his grandkids, or sitting around a campfire with his hunting buddies at Brotherhood Hunt Club!
Visitation will be held at Harbor Life Church, 3321 63rd Ave E, Bradenton, FL on Saturday November 13, 2021, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am; the funeral service will be held immediately following at 10:00 am with burial services at 12:00 pm at Mansion Memorial Park, 1400 36th Ave E, Ellenton, FL.
