James Leroy Parrish, 84 of Myakka City, FL. passed away on November 23, 2020. He was born on March 19, 1936 in Parrish, FL. He served in the United States Army and was Honorably Discharged in 1962. He was a certified electrician and auto mechanic. He is pre-deceased by his wife, Doris Parrish and his fur companion, Chico, and sister, Hulda Williford. He is survived by his three children, Debbie Adkins (Mike), Cindy Wingate, James Parrish Jr (Kim), sister Nancy Lou Warren (Lee), brother Fred Parrish (Pam), eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews as well as his extended family. He was known for his fun and witty sense of humor and will be loved and missed by all. Services will be held at Sarasota National Cemetery on Tuesday, December 8th at 1:00 PM.
