 Helen was an amazing person and touched so many lives. God put her on this earth to be a caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and caretaker for so many people. Our family was very blessed to have gotten to know her and be neighbors with her and Bill.  We will always remember those two amazing people.  I look out my front window every day to see the house that they lived in and I will always have those good memories of growing up part of my life and being around such down to earth, hard-working and caring people. 

Newby family, I did not have the fortune of meeting your mother, but I do know Tim, and if success in life is raising a caring, compassionate man, your mother was triumphant.  May memories of her love for you all bring comfort in your loss, along with the knowledge that she will be there waiting to welcome you on the other side of the river.  Michele

I really missed Helen when she moved to Florida, she was a very loving and caring friend we had allot of great times together,  I helped her  to learn to drive .  I have so many memories she was my best friend  I loved her very much,  I feel bad I didn't keep in touch the last couple of years.  But she was a special friend.  I am so glad she loved Jesus and is with him now and I will see her again.  I am praying for all the family,  Bill I love you too you are also a very good friend.   Love you,   Cinda

I became close to Helen when I used to be one of her aides at the Towers.  I willingly accepted her mothering me.  When she learned of my mother 's passing a few years back on Mother's Day,  she told me she was adopting me. She gave lots of love and advice, and strong opinions.  She worried about my health, and my getting home safe after my shift 3 - 11.  We talked about everything: family, friends, church, cooking, clothes, Jesus, heaven, and more.  When a lady passed that we dearly loved,  across the hall, I told Helen that Annie had told me she'd be standing there in that circle of folks greeting me when I come into heaven.  Helen told me ,"well, I'll be standing there too, right next to Annie, when you come in."  I believe it!  In the meantime, I  believe she'll be watching over all of us, family and friends, who she loved and loved her.  Our memories have to keep us going til then.  God Bless all, Carrie Fansler 

Todd and Tim and all - We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother.  But we know that for those who have believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, passing from this life is just moving into His presence.  God's richest blessings on you all.

My next door neighbor and friend Helen was like a second Mom to me.  Always looking out for us kids.   A wonderful kind soul. Sure miss times going over there and talking with  Helen and hanging out with Todd, Cindy and Carol great memories!  I remember the last time we talked and we hugged and said goodbye it was so sad for me  to see Helen and Bill move away.  My heart goes out to Bill, Tim, Cindy, Carol, Todd and family. Rest In Peace Mrs Newby I Love You!
