Felix Rivera Jovet, 68, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on September 8, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on June 3, 1956, at Fort Clayton military base in Colón, Panama, Felix moved to Bayamón, Puerto Rico, during his teenage years. There, he met his future wife, Leticia, and together they built a family, welcoming three daughters: Desirée, Loriann, and Deborah.
Felix's life was marked by deep faith and commitment. After embracing the Lord Jesus, he and Leticia became active members of El Olivar Methodist Church in Bayamón Gardens, where Felix contributed significantly as an actor, narrator, usher, preacher, finance leader, and lay leader. His passion for community service continued in Florida at the Port St. Lucie Methodist Church, where he served in various capacities with unwavering dedication.
Felix's interests included maintaining his home, playing baseball, fishing, and singing. His vibrant spirit and love for music enriched the lives of those around him. His devotion to his family, especially the time spent with his grandson, David, brought him immense joy.
Felix is survived by his beloved wife, Leticia; daughters Desirée, Loriann, and Deborah; son-in-law Brian; grandson David; and siblings Maria Isabel, Martha, Carmen, Olga, Yvonne, and Harry, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Felix Rivera Jovet will be remembered for his respect, admiration, and affectionate nature. His legacy of love, integrity, and humility will continue to inspire all who knew him. His memory will forever remain in our hearts"
