Elizabeth DiCicco, age 67, passed away January 7th, 2012 at Tidewell Hospice following a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born August 30th, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to Mrs. Doris Bothwell and the late Mr. Herbert Bothwell. Elizabeth retired from the Manatee County School Board on July 31st, 2011 after 30 years of loyal service. On June 18th, 2011 she married Dominick DiCicco and planned to enjoy their time together. One of her many hobbies was singing karaoke, which she did as often as possible.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband Dominick DiCicco, her mother Doris Bothwell, her daughter Kat Manaly, her stepdaughter Donna DiCicco, her stepsons Tony and Mike DiCicco, her step granddaughters Brooke and Haley Stults, and her step grandson Larry Stults.
A celebration of life ceremony will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, January 20th, 2012 at Groover Funeral Home at Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton. In lieu of flowers, donations to Tidewell Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
