Artie W. Bayless. 96. Went to be with the Lord on October 17, 2024. Born in Comfort, WV on November 2, 1927.
Retired from Charleston Area Medical Center/ Memorial Division as Supervisor in Housekeeping. Leo and Artie retired in 1985 and enjoyed traveling. Moved to Bradenton FL in September 1990. Had spent the winters in FL from 1988 to 1990. Artie was member of Bayshore Baptist Church in Bradenton FL. Artie moved to Moore Haven FL to live with her daughter, Brenda in 2012.
Preceded in death was her husband, Leo with 66 years of marriage. Also, her parents, brothers and sister. son in law Roger Walker Sr. Surviving daughter, Brenda Walker of Moore Haven FL. Grandson Roger Walker Jr. Extended family (grandson), Joseph Allan Mollohan (Andrea), and family Caden, Lillian Grace, Nicholas, Kayleigh and Lucas all from Charleston WV.
Private burial Will be October 29, 2024. Groover Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
