Virginia Lee Veit Moore passed away in New Orleans, LA on May 10, 2022. Virginia was a resident of D’Iberville, MS for the last two years but was a former resident of Anne Arundel County, MD for 25 plus years. Virginia was the beloved wife of Delbert Moore, Sr. and the devoted mother of Delbert Moore, Jr. of Locus Grave, VA, and David Moore; cherished grandmother of Madison Bissonnette of Easatern Shore, MD, Elizabeth Moore and Sarah Moore of D'Ilberville, MS; dear sister-law of Judith Veit of Fort White, FL. Virginia was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and Henry Veit, III and her brother, Henry Veit, IV. She was a loving, caring, wife and a wonderful grandmother for whom she lived and breathed for.
A visitation for Virginia will be held Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) where a Celebration of Life Service will be held immediately following at 12:00 Noon. Interment to follow at Maryland Veteran Cemetery Crownsville, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD 21032.
