Michael Joseph Frentz

Michael was born in Maryland to parents James and Frances Frentz. He lived a life deeply rooted in faith, family, and his professional and personal passions.

A devoted Catholic, Mike’s strong faith was the cornerstone of his life. He was a man of integrity and generosity, always seeking to uplift those around him. His love for life was evident in his leisure pursuits, particularly his passion for painting, golf, flying and sailing, where he found peace and joy.

Mike was a visionary in the field of engineering, co-founding Asymmetrik Ltd in 2008. His leadership and innovative approach made a significant impact on the industry. He was especially proud of his most recent endeavor, founding St. Paul's Academy in Gray, Tennessee, where his commitment to education and community will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.

Mike’s legacy extends beyond his professional accomplishments. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, colleagues, and community members whose lives he touched with kindness, wisdom, and generosity.

Michael is predeceased by his Dear Parents, James and Frances Frentz and Loving Wife, Marian Frentz. Michael is survived by His Loving Wife, Beverly De Soto; Beloved Children, Christina Frentz, Catherine (Brian) Siegel, Suzanne (Matthew) Grenier, and Diana (Tony) Knox; Dear Siblings, Nancy (Robert) Lacey and Paul (Cynthia) Frentz; Cherished Grandchildren, Allie Grenier, Joseph Grenier, and Aubrey Knox; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A visitation for Michael will be held Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at MMP, Inc., 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of the Mills Church, 114 St Marys Pl, Laurel, MD 20707. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
