There is not a single thing in my life that doesn't remind me of you. You loved me for me and never made me feel strange in a world where I always feel strange. You amazed me everyday and I fell in love with you over and over again. Mishu. Mudgu.

For Russ and Pat, I can only imagine a loss such as yours! My prayers and thoughts are with you always.

My prayers are with Theresa and the Olson family, Marky Mark, you were my meeting bud, you were there for me coming off the worst time in my life. We jammed out to Wu-Tang and reminisced about when rap was hip hop not the crap they put out today, you were my big smile when i felt like i couldn't. You are sorely missed. Love you big man.

To Mark's family, friends, and loved ones alike - I am still so deeply saddened by this loss. I had only known Mark for a few month, but an amazing few months they were. He reached out to me and we became good friends. We talked daily about his troubles and mine. All seemed to be so well. Until he was called home. 

I am lighting a candle, to continue to keep his memory lit through my friendship with him. He was a wonderful, kind, selfless man - that would do anything for another in need. 

I consider myself blessed to have been able to have had a friendship with him. Rest easy, you beautiful soul.

My heart is broken... Pat and Russ, you know I loved Marc and he was my brother! Everybody knew Marc was my brother!

Its still so hard to comprehend that Mark is gone. I met him at the ice rink. I worked there and often he was around goofing off, skating during the public session or playing hockey. Often Mark would come by my parents house for many get togethers we had as friends. Mark had a way of bringing everyone together. He always cared for and protected those he was close to. I have many vivid memories of all the laughter and hugs we shared. Mark gave great hugs! After almost a decade of time apart, I was fortunate enough to see Mark about a month ago. It made me happy that we were able to pick up right where we left off. I know I will never forget the friendship I had with him. Rest easy Mark. I'll really miss you.

Its been forever, but I have many great memories that included Mark and the skating rink back in the preteen years. He was one of the first boyfriends I ever had, and though it wasn't for too long he was always someone who I will remember fondly. He was sweet and protective of those he cared about. I am so sorry for the loss and pain that those who love him are coping with right now. I only hope and pray he can watch from above and see the love and admiration so many had for him , and the impact he had on so many lives.  He's someone who enters into your life and you never forget. Rest in peace Mark.

You were a truly great friend, the kind of friend that knew just how and when to lift your spirits. Always quick with a joke and smile, there weren't many dull moments with you around. I am lying here unable to sleep thinking of all the great times we shared. I know that you would want me to smile for you, but these last few days the tears just seem to flow. One day these tears will pass and your memories and life will once again bring a smile to my face. Goodbye Mark go be with God now. Love you man.

I have spent the last couple of days trying to find the right words and still I'm left speechless. I have in a short time re-lived so many memories of Mark and I hanging out 24/7 and the laughs we shared. From the moment we met we bonded and that brotherhood took us many different places. Mark was a great person and much smarter than me! I learned a great deal from him but never had the chance to thank him for that. We both excelled and struggled together but even during the tough times and the long moments which we had taken separate paths, I would always think of him and how he was doing. Mark was there when I was married, he was there when I deployed and he was there when I came home and was really starting over. I love Mark like a brother and I will never forget him! I am full of regrets. I wish that when I came home we had continued our friendship like we'd left it before, but life had other plans. I recently spoke with him and it seemed as though he was really making great progress in his life and that made me feel good inside.  I was hoping that we would meet up soon and that everything would come full circle, but I was wrong. I am so sorry for what happened to him, I am so sorry for his loving family who took me in when the chips were down and most of all, I am sorry for those who never had the chance to meet this wonderful young man. 
  Mark, you are in my thoughts and prayers as well as your family and I will never forget you. I know that you are in a better place and I'm confident that my mother was there to greet you. Thank you for being a part of my life and thank you for being a best friend!

I'm so sorry to hear of Mark's passing.  I remember him as a 7/8 year old running around laughing.   You're all in our prayers and thoughts!

You are no longer on my screen in the mornings and I must confess I miss your presence here terribly. Though I didn't have the chance to know you for long, you cheered me through days I thought I'd never get through. In the midst of my madness and hopelessness you reached out and lifted my spirits--for this I will be forever grateful. I met Mark when I worked at a local pool hall. He was there almost every night playing pool..He was so friendly and charming. He made all of us feel special and pretty. I spent alot of time with him. He taught me to play pool. Many nights we stayed up all night just talking. He never made a move and was a gentleman. I worked there for five years but would still run into Mark in Howard County. We stayed in touch on Facebook. He was part of a core group of friends at Goldens Sports Bar. I am really going to miss him. I am shocked by his passing. His inspirational quotes were so profound and he was always there to help a friend in need. I wont ever forget you. I know you are in heaven comforting those who need it and being the sweet guy you always were.

Mark, you were like a brother to me. My first memories of the neighborhood were you and your family. Im truly heartbroken that your gone. You were definitely taken too soon, too young. I know god has a better plan for you in heaven, make him proud. Love your big sister, leah....
