Linda was born on April 11, 1959 in Pennsylvania, to Melvin and Marlene Messner, and grew up alongside her siblings, Larry (Marlene), Barry (the late Marcy), Brenda, Jerry (Lisa) Messner, Rosie Crosby and the late Garry (Cheryl) Messner. Together, they shared a childhood adventures, and a bond that only strengthened over the years. Linda's siblings, were her lifelong confidants and closest friends, always there to support each other through life's joys and challenges. Their enduring connection was a source of joy and comfort to Linda throughout her life.
Linda married the love of her life, John Alexander Skakle. Together, they built a loving family and shared 44 years of cherished memories. As a mother to Mark (Laura) Skakle and David Skakle, Linda poured her boundless love and wisdom into nurturing them, instilling in them values of compassion, resilience, and the importance of family.
Linda's grandchildren, Jackson Luke and Kyle Mathew Skakle, brought immense joy to her life. She delighted in their laughter, celebrated their milestones, and cherished every moment spent with them.
During her brief battle with cancer, Linda displayed remarkable courage and grace. Her strength in adversity was an inspiration to all who knew her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
