On August 30, 2016, John Albert Holt, Jr. of Pasadena, MD died at the age of 82 surrounded by his family. Mr. Holt was the beloved husband of Gloria Holt and the devoted father of Kim Roussey and her husband Ken, Sandy Dembeck and Stacey Gavin and her husband Dennis; dear brother of the late Lois Gettier. Loving grandfather of Kenny and Kristopher Roussey, Jennifer Simmons, Hunter Dembeck, Nicholas and Zachary Gavin; Cherished great-grandfather of Ryan, Olivia and Emma. Albert worked for Baltimore City for most of his life as a heavy equipment operator and was an avid crabber, fisherman and hunter.
Family and friends are invited to gather at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home, 7250 Washington Blvd., Elkridge, MD 21075 (Exit 6 South off Route 100) on Monday, September 5, 2016 from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm where a Life Celebration service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at 10am. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
