There was always a Fred smile when we encountered one another.  It's one of the highest compliments humans share, smiles of recognition. However, the greatest compliment one can give another is they make you a better person. That they leave your soul richer because of their influence. Fred did with me. He was  never dark, never petty.  He was quick with kind words, with positive energy. He was an authentic Christian. Not a proselytizing, pious hypocrite, but a true follower of Jesus. His committed life, his everyday actions his testimony.  My life was enriched by his kindness and the depth of his being.  It seems I am not alone.  He touched us all and leaves our world a better place.  I pray to see him on the other side when my time comes,  I was proud he called me friend, honored to share the rich textures of life beyond the surface. I miss him and will turn to memories of his courage and wisdom when needed, grateful God somehow brought us together. For those that love him, the best way to honor him will be through kindness. Every opportunity, be kind. Fred was that kind of man.

Fred was a Customer who became my Friend.
For 20 years we worked hard and played harder.
He was a great Family Man and an example for others to follow.  God Bless him and his Family.

Always one of my favorite memories for the last 20+ years of watching Fred play Santa and bringing sparkles and magic into Christmas for the children and the adults alike.

May the family find comfort in the knowledge that Fred was a good person all of his life. We knew him since his childhood. Peace and love to all of you.

Thank you Fred for always being so kind to me, and always being respectful and never shunning me. Thank you for always allowing me to be included. In all of the family holidays and cookout. It’s meant the world to me.  Godspeed and I will see you again one day.

Sharon and family ~ We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your beloved husband.  Please accept our heartfelt condolences.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this sorrowful time.

I grew up with Fred and he was the sweetest guy. I am very sad about the passing of Fred. I will keep Fred and his family in my prayers.

Fred has always been the rock of the family he is going but he will never be forgotten. Thoughts and prayers are with the family. Earl and Darlene Cleaver.

I had the pleasure of working with Fred  at Applied Industrial Technologies. 
Fred was a wonderful person to work with. My thoughts and prayers to Fred’s family and friends  and  his Applied family.

My deepest condolences to Fred’s family. I met Fred on a cruise decades ago. He visited me in Massachusetts once after that and we kept in touch through social media for years. He was such a funny, likable guy who loved his family and friends. I hope memories provide strength to those who cared so much for him. R.I.P. Fred.

Although i only knew Fred the last 16-17 years, it was like we knew each other forever. Polar opposite in football and baseball rivalries but it made our friendship grow, with the rooting against each others teams. Go Steelers.. it was a chance meeting at a Jimmy Buffett concert in Atlantic City (2007)..it was like i met a brother from a different mother and diff city. From sending each other texts about the Howard Stern show,( how much Robin sucks), our  mutual love of Jimmy Buffett..(but now you get a front row seat for his heavenly shows) sports or just life and vacations.To his family I am so sorry. HE was a great person to a complete stranger like me, so i know how much he loved and cared for you all. Sorry im rambling but its hard to put my feelings into words. Love you and will miss you brother. SAIL ON FREDDIE

Please accept my condolences to Fred's family. I met him many years ago when working for his Dad at Bearings Incorporated in Baltimore. 
He and his sister would occasionally be at the office on Saturday while their father was working. There was a picture in his Dad's office of Fred and his sister with Santa Clause. When I remember Fred I will remember that sweet picture of innocents and happy times. 
I will keep his family in my prayers. 
His now at peace and with our father in heaven.

I have known Fred since 1990 when I first got into the PT industry.  Fred was a great guy and hard working. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.

I worked with Fred at Applied from 2021 until this past fall. Fred was an amazing mentor, leader, & person. He looked out for me, and always made sure I was in the best position to succeed. I will always be grateful for what he did as both a manager and friend. 

 My prayers are to his family &  close friends at this time. Fred was a remarkable man, and someone to aspire to be like.

Our work family doesn’t feel complete anymore. Fred poured his life into his work and our branch was built on relationships he built over his 40+ years there. I hope we can honor all of his hard work and continue the relationships without him by our sides. Fred was the most sincere, humble  and genuine person I have ever met. He was a boss that lead by example and hard work.. He will be missed immensely and I will continue praying for his family that he loved so much.

All those times at Applied in Alexandria. We had some good times.
I will miss yours and Rob’s stories .

I worked with Fred at Detroit Ball Bearing/American Bearing, he was always a pleasure to talk to and always willing to go the extra mile for anyone. I am sorry to hear of your loss. Fred will be missed dearly. I have kept in touch with our friend Rob who has kept us updated. Please accept my sincere regrets for your loss. The world was a better place with Fred in it.

I am shaken to hear of this.  Freddy was/a great person and scout. I had the pleasure being in Troop 317 at St. Clements under the leadership of his father, Mr. Fred (a great scouter) and Freddy. Two great people who earned their wings early in life. My heart breaks for the family, my God comfort you in this difficult time.

I am shook to hear this.  Fred or Freddy as I knew him growing up, was a great person.  I met him when I was probably 7 years old at The Wiley's and we all shared the same church community at St Clement. My condolences go out to Freddy's family. He was taken too soon from you.
