I'm really sorry to hear about Mr Don's passing. He was a hell of a man.. All my love goes out to you and the family !!!

To the family of Don Saffran you have my heart felt sympathy in your loss.  I worked with Don at Spring Grove and he always was a wonderful person to talk to.  I remember when he was retiring he was talking about spending time with his grandchildren and enjoying his family.  He was a great person from the first time I met him and he never changed.  I will pray for the family's strength at this time.

Mom (Charlotte Tucker) and I were shocked to hear of Don's passing. He was a great guy and and wonderful friend to my dad. Mom has a picture of the two of them sitting on her bookcase and we talk about them often. I pray that God's peace will be on you and your family and that the sorrow you feel now will turn into a warm memory in the time to come.

Darlene, just wanted to say that I worked with Don at SGHC for many years and I always heard him talk about Dar and his family and it was nice when I finally got to meet you on the parking lot of Aldi's, it's so much nicer to put faces with names.  He was a good guy and a good friend and will be missed by a lot. I will always remember him and the quarter horse story.  But now he is not suffering any more. With Sympathy's and Prayers

To Darlene and family I worked with Don at Spring Grove for a long time, and there was this one time when I had just gotten out of the hospital and back to work and it had snowed doing the day.  Don took his time after work to come over and clean the snow off my car for me I thought that was so thoughtful of him.   Then my girl friend and I went to the ocean one time and we had a room on ocean front 5th floor and boardwalk and we were sitting on the balcony I saw Don walking the boardwalk so we started to call his name he looked up and waved.  When he come back to work he told me that he thought the man upstairs was calling him and he never expected it from comming from up above just down below. We had our laughs over that.  I am sure he is at home with his maker, my prayers are with you and your family.
