Anna Jane Leishear

On Monday, June 3, 2024, ANNA JANE LEISHEAR (REDMOND), of Savage, MD, born October 31, 1932, daughter of the late Welby Lee Redmond and the late Bertha Agnes Redmond (Ridgway); beloved wife of the late Thomas Warren Leishear; loving mother of Sharon Ward and her husband Paul, Donna Poleto and her husband Gene Poleto II, Melinda Leishear and her husband Barry Browning and the late Gary Leishear and wife Anita. She is the loving grandmother of Jeremy Ward and wife Amy Shifflett, Kari Ward, Stephani Morris and husband Shaun Morris, Trevor Allen, Lindsay Poleto, Lauren Walker and husband Joseph Walker and the late Courtney Leishear; she is also survived by many great-grandchildren

Anna Jane found joy in the simplest of pleasures, especially when it came to spending time with family and cherished friends. She enjoyed the thrill of gambling, and traveled across country numerous times, while enjoying the landscapes and cultures along the way.

The love for her family drew her to places like Ocean City, where memories were created that her family will forever cherish.

Anna Jane's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her warmth, her laughter, and her unwavering love for life.

A Visitation for Anna will be held Friday, June 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Gary L. Kaufman Funeral Home at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7250 Washington Blvd, Elkridge, MD 21075, where a Funeral Service will follow at 11:30 AM. Burial Meadowridge Memorial Park.
