Scott Christopher Clouse

SCOTT C. CLOUSE of Williamsburg, passed away June 3, 2010 at Munson Medical Center after an accidental drowning in Elk Lake. He was very much loved and will be greatly missed by his entire family. Scott was born on October 12, 1965 in Manistee, Michigan to James and Geraldine Clouse. He graduated from Elk Rapids High School in 1984 and was employed in room service at the Grand Traverse Resort. He moved on to work at resorts in Florida and Colorado and returned to Traverse City where he worked for Double Check testing oil wells for several years. Scott was an avid gun collector and each of his guns held a special place in his heart. He enjoyed restoring them and building guns from parts. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping and had a very close bond with his german shepherd, Kalah.

Scott is survived by his parents, Jim and Gerrie, Sister Renata (Rick) Wilson, nieces Angie and Stacie, nephew, Rick. Brother Randy (Patti), nieces Janelle and Amber. Sister Michele (Doug) Sanderson, nephews Kyle and Kevin, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, uncle and aunts.

He was a very loving and giving person and his last gift was as a tissue donor to the Gift of Life. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2010 – 11:00 a.m. at COVELL FUNERAL HOME in Elk Rapids with a memorial visitation one hour prior.
