Formerly of Taylor Co., she along with her husband Glenn, moved to Elizabethtown in 1980 where they made their home for over 40 years.
She retired after 30 years from the Hardin Co. School System as the food service manager, was active in the Methodist Church, she was a huge fan of the Kentucky Wildcats, and it is said that she bled blue. One of her biggest passions was the horse industry, where she was involved with the American Saddlebreds. She loved to watch her daughter and then her granddaughter compete and show horses. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends. She was an amazing cook and enjoyed cooking with her mother at the old farmhouse for the family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Glenn; parents, Reesor and Ruby Miller; and one brother, Bobby Miller.
Survivors include, one daughter, Lynne (Doug) Wilson-Gault of Louisville; two brothers, Damon and Tim Miller both of Lexington; two sisters, Elizabeth Smith of Campbellsville, and Kay Gupton of Murray; one granddaughter, Ellie Gault; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral is Monday, November 18, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Burial follows in Glendale Christian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Monday beginning at 11 a.m. until start of service at the funeral home.
