She was born on May 4, 1936 to the late Alfred S. Howell and Nettie Viola Skaggs Howell. Christine was Baptist by Faith, belonging to Hardin County’s First Interdenominational Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Donie R. Hodge, Richard L. Price and David Kevin Suloff; three sisters, Virginia Howell, Shirley McIntosh and Nancy Buckner; four brothers, James Howell, Donald Howell, Mitchell Howell and Vernon Ray Howell.
She is survived by two daughters-in-law, Tracie Price and Darlene Hodge; two grandsons, Jordan Price and Chase Price; brother, David (Kay) Howell; sister, Joyce Shofner; her former husband, Robert “Bob” Dawson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin at 11 AM Wednesday and continue until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or your favorite charity.
