Winifred Lorraine (Huffman) Jones, 87, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 in El Paso, Texas. She was born on October 9, 1927 in Elkins, West Virginia to John Huffman and Effie Sowers. Lorraine studied at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Shenandoah Conservatory of Music and Arizona State University, and was awarded a Bachelor of Music degree. After coming to El Paso, she worked for El Paso Natural Gas Company as an accountant for almost 15 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in El Paso. She is survived by her sons Orval Andy Jones, Jr. of Sweden and Creed R. Jones of Lebanon, Tennessee and her closet friend is Madge Watson of Midland, Georgia, formerly of El Paso, Texas. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Memorial Pines Cemetery, Sunland Park, New Mexico.
