Victor Manuel Ramirez (“Gordis”), beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Victor served honorably in the United States Army, was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan, a Bowie High School Alumni and a history enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Maria Luisa Ramirez, and grandson, Leo. Victor is survived by his loving wife, Lydia H. Ramirez; children: Liza Tobias (Victor), Patricia Baughman (Ray), Victor M. Ramirez, Jr. (Mary), Anthony Lechuga, Bobby Lechuga, Cynthia Avila, Rita Lechuga and Jessica Gonzalez. Victor is also survived by his 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was an employee for Border International for many years. Vigil will be held Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N. Carolina, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:00 PM at St. Pius X Catholic Church.
