It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our brother, Victor Mendoza on December 11th. He was born in Fabens, Texas. He graduated from Burges High School, and then proceeded to obtain his Bachelors in Education, and teaching degree from the University of Texas at El Paso. Victor taught with the help of his paraprofessionals, Special Education for almost 30 years. He taught in New Mexico, San Antonio, Highland School, and Jefferson High School in El Paso, where he eventually retired from in 2011. He loved his job, but he loved his students more.
Victor is preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe, and his dear stepdad, Chino. Also preceding his death is mom, Polly, who passed away in August.
Victor leaves behind family; Richard (Yolie), Marco, Veronica, Ralph (Gloria+), Chuy+(Elodia), Connie (Sylvia), aunts and uncles, numerous nieces and nephews and a very large extended family to mourn his death. May he Rest in Paradise. God Bless
Thank you to Hospice El Paso for their attentiveness and the comfort care given to our brother.
