Victor Manuel Borunda

At the age of 36, his three-year battle with DSRCT, a form of Sarcoma cancer, Victor Manuel Borunda performed his final act of valor and bravery by leaving his human body behind and beginning his journey with the Lord Jesus Christ on February 26, 2016 in El Paso, TX.

Our beloved warrior, hero, mentor will be deeply missed. He is survived by his wife, Noreen Rebecca Borunda of 16 years as well as his daughters, Skylar Victoria Borunda and Christine Elise Borunda, and his sons, Victor Jr Borunda, and Gavin Ferris. He is also survived by his mother, Maria Estela Borunda and sisters, Leticia Borunda-Hernandez, and Kathleen Borunda as well as his grandmother, Maria Borunda. He is preceded by his father, Victor Manuel Borunda and grandparents, Jesus and Tomasa Echavarria, and Pedro Borunda.

His spirit was admired within the flag football leagues and his love for coaching and mentoring will live on as he fought to make a difference in our community. He truly impacted the lives that crossed his path. The Borunda family extends their sincere appreciation for the prayers, donations, and support that allowed Victor to live a beautiful life filled with memories that we will carry in our hearts until we join him in paradise. #VICTORSTRONG

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with Rosary at 7:00 PM at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 N Zaragoza El Paso TX, 79936. Funeral mass will take place on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Light, 4700 Delta Dr., El Paso TX, 79905.
