Chicken was born on December 30, 1932 in Smeltertown, TX. Chicken enjoyed his daily walks. He would often engage in conversations with his neighbors, discussing everything from local news to stories.
Chicken worked in construction and continued to be a hard worker until the end. He was a handyman and always lent a helping hand to anyone in need. Chicken’s dedication and work ethic were unmatched, no task was too big or too small for him. His unwavering support for others left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
He enjoyed eating at his favorite restaurants with family. His favorite restaurants held a special place in his heart. The familiar faces of the waitstaff greeted him warmly, knowing his usual order.
Above all else, his greatest pleasure was spending time with his family, despite his reputation as grumpy, it was universally acknowledged that he possessed a kind and generous heart.
Chicken is survived by his daughter Yolanda Silva and her husband Daniel, his daughter Maria Dolores Ramirez and her husband Jose, his grandchildren; Jessica Vargas (Daniel), Priscilla Castro, Yoli Lorena Armstrong (Jake), Daniel Silva (Iesha), Tony Silva (Andrea), Frederick Silva, Joe Ramirez (Grisel), Jacqueline Ramirez, 14 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and his siblings Petra Ramirez and Margarito Villalobos.
Chicken was preceded in death by his parents, Elias Villalobos and Gumecinda Morales; his daughter, Estela Villalobos; his siblings Mercedes Villalobos, Gumercinda Villalobos, Vicente Villalobos, Rosa Manes, Maria Rosa Villalobos, Viviano Villalobos.
Visitation will be from 5-9 PM on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 with the rosary starting at 7 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home - West (5054 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, TX 79932)
Funeral mass will take place at 10 AM Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Santa Teresita Mission (3401 Zapal Ave., El Paso, TX 79922) Interment to follow at Memorial Pines Cemetery at 11:30 AM (3061 Mem Pnes Rd., Sunland Park, NM, 88063)
