Ruben F. Aguilar, 71 joined our Heavenly Father on March 20, 2023. He was greeted by his beloved Mother Evangelina, his Father Roby, Sr., Cuca and his baby brother Carlos Franco. Ruben is survived by his children that were his world - Raelene Alvarez, Randy Aguilar and Rosanne Aguilar. His devoted son in law, Eric Alvarez and the the mother of his children, Rose De La Torre. His most prized possession his Granddaughter, Sophia Rose. His beloved brothers and sisters, Roby Aguilar (Elisa), David Aguilar (Norma), Cynthia Flores, Larry Aguilar, Tony Aguilar (Annette), Beverly Aguilar, Carmela Aguilar & Michael Aguilar. Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Ruben was a graduate of Ysleta High School. An all-star athlete and proud mascot, Kawliga. Ruben worked various trades throughout his life time. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, Chow Chow dogs, Coors Lite and a good medium rare steak. More than anything, he loved hanging out with his children. Ruben was the two stepping king. Always the talk of the dance floor. Danced like none other. Ruben had a heart of gold and was loved by so many, including his furry-dog children. Ruben or “Pops” to so many will be missed dearly.
A visitation for Ruben will be held Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East Funeral Home & Cemetery, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, Texas 79938. A funeral mass will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Church, 1700 George Dieter Dr, El Paso, TX 79936. Following with a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX.
