Rigoberto Aguilar Jr passed away on the evening of March 2, 2023. He was born February 16, 1966 in El Paso, TX. to his parents Lucina and Rigoberto Sr. Rigoberto was a great son, husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was married to Bertha Alicia for 30 years. He would spend most of his time with her and his four children Hector, Claudia, Rigoberto III, and Angelica. He had four grandchildren that are known as the “TATAS”. Valentina, Monserrat, Karime, and Leo. Rigoberto was proud of his children and grandchildren accomplishments as he was their “#1 Fan”. Throughout the years, Rigo influenced many lives and created long lasting friendships in the baseball, softball, and plumbing community. Rigoberto was a coach for many years in baseball and softball. He coached many different teams in Cuidad Juarez, El Paso, and Arizona. He influenced athletes by spending countless hours training, and mentoring them about life. Rigoberto spend most of his early years traveling with his family to Mexico City and the United States for baseball and softball tournaments. After a successful coaching career, he decided to become a softball umpire, as it became a hobby. Rigoberto was a die heart Dallas Cowboys fan anywhere he would go he was always representing his team. His Sundays consisted off football games and cookouts. He was always passionate about older car models, in particular his 1963 Chevy Impala. Rigoberto left a marked print in every person he touched he left a strong legacy in his family. He will be dearly missed, and will always be remembered.
Memorial Service will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with vigil at 5 p.m.Thursday March 23, 2023 at Martin Funeral Home -East.
