Ramona Martinez Ramos

Ramona Martinez Ramos, 77, of El Paso, TX, passed away January 2, 2019. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 23, 1941 in El Paso, TX, to Raul and Maria Luisa Martinez Sr. She was the youngest of 5 siblings. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and graduated from Loretto Academy in 1960. She was always proud to be a “LORETTO GIRL”. She taught kindergarten at St. Mary’s Catholic School until her marriage to her husband of 55 years, Raul Ramos Jr., in 1963. She dedicated herself to being a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Raul Ramos Jr.; daughters, Romelia Juarez, Rosalie Venecia; Rosemarie Rubalcava, Roseanne Gandara; Rebecca Ramos; son-in-laws, Francisco Juarez, Lewis Venecia, Ruben Rubalcava, Braulio Gandara; grandchildren, Nicholas Venecia, Rebekah Rubalcava, Jacqueline Venecia, Benjamin Rubalcava, Luca Gandara, Maya Gandara; siblings, Ernesto Martinez, Virgina Carlos, Rosa Martinez.

Visitation: Sunday January 06, 2019 from 2:00pm – 6:00pm at Kaster-Maxon & Futrell Funeral Home with a Rosary to begin at 3pm.

Funeral Mass: Monday January 07, 2019 at 12pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Graveside Service will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
