Petra S. Acosta

Petra was a lifelong El Paso resident, having graduated from Austin High School.

Petra is survived by two children; son, Aaron Francis Acosta (Patricia Ann Mott Acosta), and daughter, Patricia Marie Acosta Vargas (Victor Manuel Vargas); three grandchildren, grandson Victor Vargas, Jr. (Melissa) and two granddaughters, Veronica Vargas Stidvent (Christopher Stidvent) and Tiffanye Vargas; six great-grandchildren, Alex Vargas, Madeline Vargas, Charlotte Stidvent, Evelyn Stidvent, Ava Stidvent and

Ford Stidvent; one sister, Herminia Soledad Ortiz; as well as many beautiful nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be at Funeraria Del Angel Central (formerly Martin Funeral Home Central), 3839 Montana Ave., El Paso, TX 79903 on Thursday, October 26 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with Rosary beginning at 7:00

PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023, at Jesus and Mary Roman Catholic Chapel, 1401 W. Yandell at 9:30 AM. Graveside services will be held immediately following at Fort

Bliss National Cemetery.
