Nicolasa Rodriguez Natividad

Mrs. Nicolasa Rodriguez Natividad, age 90, of El Paso, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2024. Nicolasa was born in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico on December 10, 1933 to Florentino Rodriguez and Angelita Barrera Rodriguez.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Arturo Natividad in 2007, her parents, and her siblings, Sebastian Rodriguez, Tomasita Rodriguez, Miguel Rodriguez, Isidra Rodriguez, Felix Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, and Jose Rodriguez.

A longtime resident of El Paso’s Lower Valley, Nicolasa was employed by Farah and Lee garment manufacturers over a span of 35 years as a seamstress and inspector.

Nicolasa is survived by her son, Ruben A. Natividad (Marie Judith), and her daughter Deanna V. Natividad. Grandchildren: Jennifer Natividad Martinez (Randal), Tiffany Natividad, Vivian Natividad, Ricardo Natividad, and Monica Marquez. Great Grandchildren, Liliana and Aria Gonzales, and Nicholas Martinez. She is also survived by her sister Silvia Alonzo, niece Sylvia De La Rosa (Andres), nephew Polo Alonzo (Graciela), brother-in-law Toby Natividad (Lupe), sisters-in-law Mary Sanchez, Ramona Natividad, Margarita Natividad, Carmen Natividad, and dozens of nieces, nephews, and grands.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Javier Alvarado and the entire staff at Javier Foster Home for the medical attention and kindness they provided to Nicolasa while under their hospice care, as well as Three Oaks Hospice for their professionalism and compassionate medical care, and to their cousin Graciela Rodriguez of Phoenix, AZ, for helping to care for Nicolasa when her health started to decline.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 6th from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm with recitation of the Rosary at 11:30 am at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Avenue. Committal service to follow at Ft Bliss National Cemetery.
