Grandma you were there for me when I was at my lowest. You were always a beacon that things would and eventually get better and I’ve strived so hard with everything I did and continue to do to make you proud. You exemplified what it means to have such a strong moral compass that always pointed true north and I hope that I honored that example. Your service was a celebration of a life that needed to be honored and cherished as an example of what to be. For that, I will always be eternally grateful.

Hello Grandma,

I am sorry we couldn’t say goodbye. But don’t think that just because I wasn’t there, that you weren’t present with me. Your legacy will live on through your children, their children and their children and so on. Fond memories  that will serve as our reminders. I will always be thankful for your support and time given to us grandkids. We knew you loved us. I’m glad your body and mind can be at peace now. I’m thankful that your son Bill and his wife Tina were there for you in your last years. You will be deeply missed by all of us.
