Nena, la mayor de siete hijos, nació el 21 de agosto de 1938 en Ciudad Juárez, México, hija de María Luisa y Francisco Mora.
Le sobreviven su esposo por 54 años, Lorenzo Sánchez; su hijo, Edilberto Sánchez; sus nietos, Diego Sánchez, Ángel Sánchez y Hugo Cesar Sánchez; tres bisnietos; sus hermanos, Mario Mora Enríquez y Julián Mora Enríquez junto con sus sobrinas y sobrinos.
Le precedieron en el descanso eterno su madre, María Luisa Enríquez de Mora; su padre, Francisco Mora Durán; y sus hermanos, Francisco Mora Enríquez, Jesús Antonio Mora Enríquez, Lorenzo Arturo Mora Enríquez y José Cruz Mora Enríquez.
Su memoria perdurará en el corazón de sus amigos y el personal de El Parque Adult Day Care y San Antonio Adult Day Care.

Maria Elena “Nena” Sanchez, 86, Loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
Nena, the eldest of seven children, was born on August 21, 1938, in Cd. Juarez, Mexico to Maria Luisa & Francisco Mora.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lorenzo Sanchez; her son, Edilberto Sanchez; her grandsons, Diego Sanchez, Angel Sanchez and Hugo Cesar Sanchez; three great-grandchildren; her brothers, Mario Mora Enriquez and Julian Mora Enriquez together with her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in eternal rest by her mother, Maria Luisa Enriquez de Mora; her father, Francisco Mora Duran; her brothers, Francisco Mora Enriquez, Jesus Antonio Mora Enriquez, Lorenzo Arturo Mora Enriquez and Jose Cruz Mora Enriquez.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of her friends and staff at El Parque Adult Daycare and San Antonio Adult Daycare Centers.
