Maria H. Salgado

Maria Hilda Salgado 87; of El Paso, Tx gained her angel wings on August 18, 2021. Hilda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her infant daughter Delmara Ann, and son Eloy Salgado.

Hilda is survived by her devoted husband of 65 years, Ismael Salgado Sr, daughter Belinda M Munoz, son Ismael Salgado Jr wife Ana, son Xavier Salgado, daughter in law Raquel Salgado, sister Elvia Salcido – Rodriguez. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; as well as extended family of nephews, nieces, and many friends.

Hilda retired from YISD after 37 years, ending her career at Scotsdale Elementary. Hilda loved the color purple, crocheting, orchids, music, and dancing. She also enjoyed yardwork, spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Hilda was loved by so many and the rock to our family.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina Dr. from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm with the rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church at 11:30 am. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
