Maria De Jesus McBurney, 96, passed away on July 16, 2015 in El Paso, Texas. She was born on June 27,1919 in El Paso, Texas to Juan Santillan & Anastacia Villarreal. She is survived by her husband: Robert E. McBurney; daughter: Maria Elena Mendez; nephews: Carlos Hinojo, Rodolfo Hinojo, Javier Hinojo; brother: Raul Santillan; sisters: Consuelo Borrego, Ofelia Gonzalez, Margarita Ramirez; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Vigil Service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Funeral Rite at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
