Mann Herbert Carter Sr.

Mann Herbert Carter Sr; age 69, saw his last sunset on Friday July 29, 2016 in his home. Mr. Carter is survived by his wife Janet Carter, his children, Mann H. Carter Jr. and his wife Julie, Renee Carter, Ramsey Carter, and Cody Carter and his wife Elizabeth; and his grandchildren Moriah, Ajani, Malcolm, Jordan, and Jazmyn. Mr. Carter was born in Casa Grande, Arizona, the son of late Melvin and Sammie Carter and brother of Bessie Crosby, Pearl Williams, the late Melvin Ray Carter and Bill Carter, Cleve Carter, Samuel Carter, Nell Maggett, Jerry Carter, and Patricia Bailey. In 1991, Mann Herbert Carter Sr. retired as a Vietnam veteran from the United States Army after 23 years of service. Mr. Carter also retired from the city of El Paso, Texas in 2003. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Hillcrest-Carolina from 6:00-9:00pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at 10:00am at Friendship Baptist Church in El Paso, TX and the burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Carter leaves a lifetime of loving memories and an unforgettable impression with relatives and friends in many corners of the world.
