Luis Arias, born December 7, 1926, passed away on February 15, 2015, at the age of 89. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Maria, and father, Vicente, and brothers Vicente and Julio. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Arias, his daughter, Bertha Mieckowski, and sons Enrique and Luis Arias. He is also survived by his sister, Carolina Gallarzo, his nine grandchildren and his four great grandchildren. He served in World War II. He retired from the El Paso Electric Company. He enjoyed life to the fullest, and enjoyed traveling. Pallbearers will be Gabriel Arias, David Arias, Michael Arias, Luis-Carlos Arias, Luis Arias and Enrique Arias.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with prayer service at 6:00pm at Martin Funeral Home Central. Graveside service will be Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11:00am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
