Felipe gave me my first job in the US.
He did not like newbies, but he made an exception because of my brother.
He helped me become what I am in my chosen profession, if not for him and very few others (Alex, Gabe, Barbara,  Alan, David (3))  , I would not be doing what I do every day.
He was one of the best friends I’ve had in my life, always caring, and loving, most of all always patient with me, you could say I am an acquired taste, if not difficult, Felipe use to say.
We worked together for years; he was one of the best car people I have ever meet.
Felipe was a decorated Marine veteran (bronze star, Dessert Shield) so I can say I was trained right by the best.
Quick story.
We were selling cars in El Paso, it was super-hot, windy and dusty.
He was the Sales Manager; I was a Salesman. Came into his office and said, “Felipe I have been out there all day, I am very sunburned, I have dirt all up my you know what, spoken to like 8 customers and have not sold anything!!”-.
Felipe looked up, smiled and said, “Well, you should have listened to your Dad”.
I said “What? You did not meet my Dad!!”
Felipe said, again with a smile “I didn’t, but I’m sure he did tell you to stay in college, get a Degree right? But Nooo, you wanted to party, so go outside and sell a (bleep) car!!”
Out I went.
This was a true Flipper answer, and I will always remember and love him for this and a ton of other exchanges we had during the years.
He was a gentle giant (inside and outside), he marked my life, and therefore my family’s life.
My brother will never be forgotten, as long as I live, he will be alive in my heart.

To my brother that I worked with side by side for 10 yrs. 12 hours a day, thank you for being you. You made a hard job so much easier . You have such a beautiful family, beautiful daughters, beautiful grandchildren, and a  great partner in Lori. 
Not to mention my other brother Gabe.
I don’t feel this is real, I am so grateful to have spent some time with you recently at  your always supportive  sister. 
What a family is supposed to be.
Thanks for helping me through the hardest part of my life.
Say HI TO CARLOS, my little brother in heaven. I LOVE you FLIPS, I miss you already

My first born nephew!  We grew up together and have so many memories of our childhood. Even though our lives took us in different paths, you held a special place in my heart.  I miss you and pray that our Lord grant your family peace.  Till we meet again, your Tia Vicky.
