Lorenzo Sanchez was a loving husband, father and follower of God. He was a caring man and hard worker throughout his life. He worked at Cashway Lumber and El Paso Sands Quarry before becoming a fireman in 1977. After retiring from the fire department with 17 years of service, he volunteered at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. During this time, he became a teacher’s aid for 7 years, then went on to work at BadgeWorks Plus for 13 years before officially retiring. Lorenzo enjoyed playing guitar, fishing, camping, traveling, making furniture and being involved in ACTS retreats as well as church choirs; where he played since he was in 7th grade.
