Laura Bernards

Laura Bernards, 69, passed away on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Laura was born in El Paso, Texas and spent most of her life in Fabens, Texas. Laura retired as a Medical Transcriber after working for many years with University Medical Center (R.E. Thomason General Hospital) and The Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus (Sierra Medical Center). After her retirement, Laura enjoyed being a Substitute Teacher, loved reading and enjoying the company of her dog and cats.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Bradley Bernards; and her parents, Nicasio and Guadalupe Garcia.

Laura is survived by her daughters, Melissa Quesada; and Rachel Clark; her brothers and sisters, Jesus Garcia, Maria Ramos, Esperanza Faust, Nicasio Garcia Jr., Cristina Maese, Leopoldo Garcia, Jose Garcia, Jaime Garcia and Ruben Garcia; her grandchildren Annabel Quesada, Crystal Quesada, Brett Clark and Grace Clark.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
