Juan was born in Ocotlán, Jalisco, Mexico to Ezequiel Rodríguez Flores and Maria Candelaria García García on April 15, 1953. He was the oldest of ten siblings. His family immigrated to the United States when he was sixteen years old. At the age of eighteen, he enlisted in the U.S. Army where he was strongly encouraged to become fluent in his second language. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was stationed twice in Germany. After serving his adopted country for twelve years, he was honorably discharged. He was honored for his courage serving the country that received him with open arms at a young age.
Juan is preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, Josephine Rodríguez, and his brother, Simon Leon García and stepson, Omar Rubio.
Juan is survived by his first wife, Viola Mae Rodriguez with their children Natosha Rodriguez Miess (Daniel), Juan Rodriguez, aka Junior (Tara), and Fernando Luis Rodriguez (Sharina). His second wife, Ester Rubio, with his stepson, Marden Rene Rubio (Karina). His beloved and devoted third wife, Leticia Rodríguez with his stepdaughters, Denisse Rodriguez and Adriana Abimelec Rodriguez. His siblings Jose Luis Rodriguez, Pilar Daniel, Teresa Moreno, Ezequiel Rodriguez, Martin Padilla Garcia, Alfredo Jose Leon, Lourdes Ixcolin, and Jesus Leon. Also, his thirteen grandchildren.
He was a generous man and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. We will love and miss him forever. His legacy lives on in his children and grandchildren, who adored him. He always put his family first, and will forever be remembered with love.
