Nacho was born on December 27, 1945 in El Paso, Texas. The oldest of four children to Francisca and Ignacio Felix. He spent his life in El Paso, Texas where he met and married his beloved Norma on June 22, 1968 . He loved to watch sports with an emphasis on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. He loved working on cars and tinkered on them till he was physically tired.
Nacho was also known for being a youth athletic coach for the Indians baseball and football teams in the late 80’s and Early 90’s. Mr. Felix spent the majority of his life working at the Farah Clothing Manufacturing Co. and as a bus driver for the Clint Independent School District. He is survived by his wife Norma; children, Sandra, J (Nacho), and David; grandchildren, Hugo, Victoria, Frances, David jr., Felix, Minaya, Mia, and Nayeli. Sisters Carmen, Cecilia, Alicia; and many great extended family members and friends.
A visitation for Nacho will be held Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A rosary will occur Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A funeral mass will occur Friday, October 25, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 131 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907. A graveside will occur Friday, October 25, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907.
